Si en el anterior post hablada de musas de la moda en este hablo de chicos con clase, con percha, con estilo, que lo saben llevar... son formas de describir por qué hay personas que llaman la atención y otras simplemente ocupan volumen en el espacio. No es sólo por llevar traje o una camiseta cutre crean el mismo efecto, es algo que no se explica, mola y punto. Michael Caine, Fran Sinatra con sus impecables camisas, Kurt Cobain y Simon Neil de rollo grunge, cada uno tiene su propia característica ya sea una barba de tres días o una manga de tattos, hay algo que te hace mirar.


In the previous post I wrote about fashion muses, in this one I want to write about men with style, poised... different ways to describe why some people attract attention and others simply occupy volume in space. It's not just a suit or a tacky T-shirt that create the effect, it's something not easily explained, just coolness. Michael Caine, Frank Sinatra with impeccable shirts, Kurt Cobain and  Neil Simon with their grunge thing going on, each one of them has their own details, either the stubble or a tatoo sleeve, but something makes you stare.

No podemos negar que lo antiguo es nuevo, mirar hacia atrás en la moda es la mejor manera de acertar, de eso pueden dar fe la mayoría de los diseñadores, tanto grandes como pequeños. Cuellos grandes, peinados cortos, lazos muchos lazos y laca. Ingrid Bergman, Audrey Hepburn, Marylin,  Brigitte Bardot o Shirley MacLaine sabían lo que hacian, son las perfectas musas en todo momento.

We can't deny that old is new, looking back in fashion is the best way to get it right, as can most designers can testify. .Large collars, short hair, bows lots and lots of bows!and hair spray. Ingrid Bergman, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn, Brigitte Bardot and Shirley MacLaine knew what they were doing, and are the perfect muses for all times.

Qué es un biés

Los detalles marcan la diferencia, lo que está repetido debe parecer único. Abajo parte de la última colección de Miu Miu, chicas clonadas mostrando la individualidad de la ropa, contradicción: si, pero yo sigo queriendo el abrigo amarillo. 


Details make the difference, what's repeated should look unique. The bottom picture is part of the latest Miu Miu collection, cloned girls displaying the individuality of the clothing, contradiction, maybe, but I still love the yellow coat.

Orillos, hilo y contrahilo

Inspiración divina, en este caso de Vogue. El problema con esta sociedad es que ha perdido el rumbo y no sabe a quien adorar. Entre las paginas de la revista de Anna Wintour se encuentra la salvación a través de la decadencia. La chica "it"Cory Kennedy y Michelle Tranchtenberg sirven de musas perfectas. 


Divine inspiration,  from the hands of Vogue. The problem with society today is that it's lost it's way and doesn't know who to worship. Between the pages of Anna Wintour's magazine we find  salvation through decay. The  "it" girl Cory Kennedy and Michelle Tranchtenberg serve us as  perfect muses.

Sobrehilado: se utiliza para evitar que las costuras se deshilachen.

Cada uno tiene esas pequeñas cosas que hacen que todo lo demás merezca la pena. La mierda que hay alrededor desaparece momentáneamente. Puede ser ponerte hasta las cejas de metilendioximetanfetamina, la sonrisa de una persona especial o simplemente tomarte un café en soledad mientras miras por la ventana.  

Everyone has those little things that make everything else worthwhile. All the shit momentarily disappears. It can be by ingesting large quantities of methylenedioxymethamphetamine, the smile of someone special or just to have a coffee in solitude while looking out the window.
